Responsibilities

  • Assess applicants' financial health to determine insurability.
  • Use software tools to analyse data and generate underwriting reports.
  • Collaborate with claims department to evaluate historical claims data.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and agents for better service.
  • Participate in underwriting committees to share best practices.
  • Create and improve underwriting support documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher Diploma in Insurance or Business
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science will be beneficial
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting
