Responsibilities

• Initiate and oversee design and prototype development projects.
• Perform structural integrity checks and material selection for designs.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for integrated systems.
• Lead feasibility studies and cost analysis for projects.
• Document design processes and changes in line with industry standards.
• Work on airworthiness and compliance certification for new designs.
• Attend conferences and present engineering advancements to peers.
• Engage in environmental impact assessments for projects.
• Develop mentoring programs for new engineers.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders and government regulatory bodies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with aerospace specialty
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in aerospace projects

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
