Materials Management Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize inventory levels.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Identify areas for cost reduction related to inventory.
• Coordinate with suppliers for material procurement.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on inventory needs.
• Assist in the implementation of inventory management software.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on inventory practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications

• Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with international trade and logistics: Knowledge of import/export processes and compliance.
