Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Ocean Export Coordinator to manage the export process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills to ensure the smooth export of goods via ocean transportation.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the public to promote recycling and educate them on proper disposal practices.
• Maintain accurate records of collected materials and report on collection metrics.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment used for collection.
• Assist in training new collectors on safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Identify and report potential hazards at collection sites to ensure safety compliance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in waste management or recycling is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of recycling processes
• Safe handling practices

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
