Job Description

We are searching for a Structural Planner with a strong background in civil engineering to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will manage structural design projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations while focusing on sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for project delivery.
• Draft detailed reports and documentation on structural designs.
• Evaluate project feasibility and performance standards.
• Provide insights on best practice methodologies in structural engineering.
• Ensure efficient resource allocation throughout project phases.
• Champion sustainability initiatives in structural design.
• Actively participate in team meetings to communicate progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in structural planning

Technical Skills

• 3D Modelling Software
• Revit
• BIM Technology

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Structural Finite Element Analysis: Experience with advanced structural analysis methodologies.
