Job Description

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, assisting users with hardware and software problems, and managing IT support tickets. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of IT systems and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computer systems and software.
  • Ensure all IT requests are logged and tracked in the ticketing system.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on IT best practices.
  • Assist with the deployment of new software and hardware solutions.
  • Contribute to IT strategy and project planning.
  • Monitor the performance of IT systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support cloud-based applications and services.
  • Work with third-party vendors for equipment repairs and support.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years experience in technical support roles
