We are on the lookout for a passionate Chemical Engineer to join our vibrant team in Durban. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in chemical processes and have the ability to design, implement, and optimize chemical production processes to improve efficiency and safety. You will work with a dynamic group of engineers to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients while adhering to industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance chemical processes for increased efficiency.
• Work closely with R&D to develop new products.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of safety practices.
• Lead investigations into process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of process performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
• Engage in process modeling and simulation.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives within the company.
• Provide technical support for production issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Relevant master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical process design and optimization
