We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in aerospace design and a passion for innovative engineering solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop aircraft systems and components that will push the boundaries of aerospace technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced aerospace design concepts.
• Support certification processes for new aerospace technologies.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform data analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years in the aerospace sector

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• CAD Software

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Project Management Experience: Experience leading projects from concept to delivery.
• Familiarity with Aerospace Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of production methods used in the aerospace sector.
