We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in aerospace design and a passion for innovative engineering solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop aircraft systems and components that will push the boundaries of aerospace technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in the design and development of aerospace products.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Conduct validation and testing of prototypes.
• Implement design changes based on test results and feedback.
• Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of components.
• Provide technical support during the production phase.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years in the aerospace sector

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• CAD Software

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in UAV Development: Hands-on experience with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
• Knowledge of Composite Materials: Familiarity with advanced materials used in airframe design.
