Job Description

As a Broadcast Announcer, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and informative radio content to a wide audience. You will develop programming that resonates with our listeners, conduct interviews with interesting guests, and be a vital part of our vibrant team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and present engaging radio shows that resonate with our audience.
• Research content for shows, including interviews and music playlists.
• Assist with production and editing of pre-recorded shows.
• Engage with listeners through social media channels.
• Represent the company at station events.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new show concepts.
• Adhere to broadcasting regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant broadcasting experience may be substituted for formal education.

Experience

• Familiarity with broadcasting regulations and standards.

Technical Skills

• Comfortable with public speaking and live broadcasting

Soft Skills

• Adaptable and flexible to changing industry trends and technologies

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with live events and remote broadcasting: Hands-on experience with broadcasting live from various locations.
• Experience in sports or news broadcasting: Familiar with the fast-paced environment of sports and current events.
