Job Description

As an Accountant based in Johannesburg, you will oversee various accounting functions, including the preparation of budgets and forecasts, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. We are looking for someone who is proactive and eager to contribute to a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage cash flow effectively.
• Develop and implement improvements for accounting processes.
• Collaborate across departments for financial strategy.
• Ensure proper documentation and storage of financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Train and mentor junior staff in accounting practices.
• Review and enhance accounting software systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
• Honours degree in Accounting is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in a full accounting role
