We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will provide critical support to individuals and families facing various social challenges. You will assess client needs, develop personalised intervention plans, and work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure access to necessary resources. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate individual client situations and determine appropriate interventions.
  • Provide direct support and counselling to clients in crisis.
  • Advocate for clients' access to social services and benefits.
  • Collaborate with community organisations to facilitate support networks.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Social Work preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in a social services environment
