Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial information and supporting strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
• Contribute to financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Assist in the development of accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
• Master's degree in Accounting or MBA is preferred

• 5+ years of significant accounting experience
