UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are in search of a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to enhance our team's capabilities in Cape Town. You'll be collaborating closely with developers and product managers to create seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of design principles and a passion for crafting user-centric products.

Responsibilities

• Lead design sprints and workshops to gather insights and inspire innovative solutions.
• Utilize data analytics to drive design decisions and improve user engagement.
• Create user flows, journey maps, and personas to guide design choices.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on their work.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Develop and maintain style guides and design systems to ensure consistency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, or similar
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in interactive design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping

Certifications

• UX Design Institute Diploma
• Google UX Design Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with motion design: Ability to create engaging animations and transitions.
