Clinical Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be at the forefront of patient care, evaluating and optimizing medication therapies to ensure safety and efficacy. Your expertise will help shape patient treatment plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medication therapy reviews for patients.
• Provide clinical support to medical staff regarding pharmacotherapy.
• Engage in direct patient care activities and consultations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records.
• Lead and participate in pharmacy-specific clinical programs.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Participate in training and mentoring of pharmacy interns and students.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy environment preferred
