We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, offering pharmaceutical care, and providing expert advice to patients. You will play a crucial role in promoting health and wellness in our community through personalized patient counsel and support.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and assessments on new patients.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
• Utilise modalities and advanced techniques in rehabilitation therapies.
• Implement exercises and hands-on therapies to improve function.
• Monitor and report patient progress towards rehabilitation goals.
• Support a patient-centered approach in all interactions.
• Participate in community health workshops and outreach projects.
• Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy practices and research.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Science is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in geriatrics: Experience in providing physiotherapy for elderly patients.
• Familiarity with paediatric physiotherapy: Familiarity with treatment approaches for children is a plus.
