Job Description

As a Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting mental health in Cape Town. Your responsibilities include assessing clients' psychological needs, creating personalized treatment plans, and facilitating therapy sessions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations to understand clients' issues.
  • Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Lead group therapy sessions to foster a supportive environment.
  • Advise on client welfare and provide recommendations for community resources.
  • Document client progress and therapeutic outcomes accurately.
  • Contribute to mental health outreach programs as needed.

Advantageous

  • CBT or DBT certifications: Certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
  • Experience with youth counseling: Background in offering counseling services to adolescents and youth.
