Job Description

We are seeking a driven Industrial Engineer to join our engineering team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will leverage their engineering expertise to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency. You will collaborate with various departments to design, implement, and monitor productivity improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from concept through launch.
• Optimize existing aerospace systems for improved efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for material sourcing.
• Review and approve design specifications.
• Contribute to research and development projects.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering

Technical Skills

• MATLAB
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in composite materials: Hands-on experience with the use of composite materials in aerospace applications.
• Previous experience with aerodynamics analysis: Strong knowledge of aerodynamic performance analysis.
