Job Description

The Water Fabricator Operator plays a crucial role in the operations of our water fabrication plant, ensuring the production of high-quality purified water. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, performing regular quality checks, and adhering to safety standards within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the water fabrication facility.
• Conduct water quality assessments and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Document production processes and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
• Manage inventory of materials required for the fabrication process.
• Report any operational issues to management promptly.
• Assist with regulatory compliance audits.
• Work collaboratively with the quality control team to ensure product standards.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• National Diploma in Water Care or related field

Experience

• Experience with maintaining laboratory equipment and performing water quality testing

Technical Skills

• Chemical processing experience
• Pump and motor maintenance

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in maintenance of pumps and motors: Background in the upkeep of water treatment pumps and motors.
• Experience with ISO 9001 standards: Understanding of quality management systems in manufacturing.
