We are on the lookout for a passionate Pet Groomer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will have experience in grooming various breeds of pets, ensuring their well-being, and creating a comfortable atmosphere. If you love animals and have a knack for grooming, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of pets before grooming.
• Use grooming tools and products safely and effectively.
• Interact positively with both pets and their owners.
• Educate clients on pet grooming and maintenance.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Care is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in professional grooming

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Proficiency
• Pet Health Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Canine Behaviour Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in customer service: Skills in managing client relationships and inquiries.
• Ability to assist in training junior groomers: Mentoring skills to assist new team members.
