• Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in mining engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering or Geology is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in a mining-related role

Technical Skills

• Mining Software (e.g., Vulcan, Surpac)
• Environmental Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Mining Certification from a recognised body
• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in environmental impact assessments: Hands-on experience in conducting environmental assessments for mining projects.
• Knowledge of SAP for resource management: Familiarity with SAP software for tracking mining resources.
