UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate UX Designer to join our creative team in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will focus on transforming complex requirements into user-friendly solutions that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. You will lead design processes from user research to interaction design, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to create intuitive digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead user experience projects from concept through delivery.
• Communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders and clients.
• Work alongside the product team to refine product requirements.
• Support team members in understanding UX design principles.
• Analyze competitor products to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure consistency in design across multiple platforms.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Prototyping Tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
• User Research

Soft Skills

• Collaboration
• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS: Understanding of web technologies to better communicate with developers.
