Job Description

As an Eligibility Interviewer, you'll play a critical role in assessing patient eligibility for government programs. Your work will involve maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and assisting healthcare professionals to ensure quality care for every individual we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient intake and registration processes.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
  • Support physical therapists during patient evaluations.
  • Maintain documentation accuracy and completeness for all patients.
  • Provide administrative support to the rehabilitation team.
  • Verify eligibility for various healthcare programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patient queries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Oversee patient flow and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and privacy laws.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher education in healthcare or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Technical Skills

Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • isiZulu: Basic
