Job Description

We are actively seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical system design and implementation, with an emphasis on innovation and sustainability. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of projects that aim to improve energy efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the electrical design process from concept through construction.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical problems related to electrical engineering.
• Maintain documentation for electrical specifications and system designs.
• Provide technical support to project management and other engineering departments.
• Evaluate and select tools and materials for electrical systems.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain industry knowledge.
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops for team members.
• Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on project updates and electrical systems.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with electrical standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Professional registration as an Engineer is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience
