Job Description

As a Financial Analyst in our Johannesburg office, you will analyse complex financial information and provide valuable insights to senior management. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to management.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Conduct market research to inform investment decisions.
• Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects.
• Develop and implement financial analysis tools and techniques.
• Analyse financial operations and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Provide support in the implementation of financial policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
• Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration is a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a financial analysis or corporate finance role

Technical Skills

• Financial Reporting
• SAP or other ERP software

Certifications

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
