Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role will involve assessing our current security measures, implementing best practices, and responding to security incidents. Candidates should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and be capable of developing comprehensive security strategies to protect our organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance the organization's security posture.
• Manage third-party security assessments.
• Assist in regulatory compliance efforts, including GDPR and POPIA.
• Engage in threat hunting and intelligence gathering activities.
• Provide expert advice on cybersecurity best practices.
• Participate in security audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
