Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy and exercise regimens.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options and exercise regimes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and monitor progress towards recovery goals.
• Participate in case management and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and support students during placements.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advances in physiotherapy practice.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience in physiotherapy
