Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to bolster our security team in Bloemfontein. This role requires an individual who can proactively identify security risks and implement measures to safeguard our systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network security, encryption technologies, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Assess and mitigate security risks across the organization.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
• Implement measures to comply with data protection regulations.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage security tools and solutions.
• Develop risk management strategies and incident response protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
