Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to be part of our growing team in Cape Town. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to monitor, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks while developing incident response plans and security processes that align with best practices in the cybersecurity domain.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing innovative solutions to address cybersecurity threats.
• Manage security vendors and oversee contracts and services.
• Conduct training sessions on best practices for employees.
• Participate in security assessments of new systems and applications.
• Collaborate with compliance teams on regulatory requirements.
• Advise on security architecture for new projects.
• Prepare and present reports regarding security status and incidents.
• Stay informed of the latest security technology developments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+

Languages
