Industrial Engineer

Job Description

As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing and improving production processes at our Midrand facility. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering teams to identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and play a key role in project management. A strong background in industrial engineering principles is essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes of manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge efficiency.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the operations team.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve processes.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are adhered to within the workplace.
• Prepare project proposals and feasibility studies.
• Facilitate continuous improvement workshops.
• Review production schedules and adjust workflows to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing roles
