Job Description

As a key member of our engineering team in Johannesburg, the Electrical Engineer will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach to engineering challenges, who can engage with stakeholders to deliver the best solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and manage project timelines and budgets for electrical projects.
• Produce detailed technical reports and documentation for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to select appropriate materials and vendors.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and standards throughout projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Manage relationships with clients and address any concerns related to projects.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with renewable energy systems: Experience in designing systems related to solar or wind energy.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs): Hands-on experience related to PLC programming and troubleshooting.
