We are on the lookout for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will spearhead our cloud strategy, ensuring robust infrastructure and seamless integration of cloud services to drive efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure using best practices.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud solutions.
• Conduct cost analysis and optimize cloud expenditures.
• Support disaster recovery and backup strategies for cloud services.
• Implement and maintain cloud monitoring and alerting systems.
• Evaluate third-party cloud services and tools for potential integration.
• Educate teams on cloud technologies and promote a cloud-first culture.
• Assess and enhance cloud security measures continuously.
• Participate in IT and cloud strategy planning sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in cloud solutions architecture
