Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

As a Nurse Practitioner in our Durban facility, you will be at the forefront of patient care. We're seeking an experienced and empathetic individual to perform health assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and prioritize care plans.
• Conduct regular patient reviews to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care.
• Engage in community outreach and wellness programs.
• Provide telehealth services when necessary.
• Use electronic health record systems efficiently.
• Attend relevant workshops and conferences for professional development.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Promote a patient-centered approach to care.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Certification in Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a Nurse Practitioner role

Technical Skills

• Patient management
• Diagnostic skills

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Critical thinking

Certifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Nursing board registration in South Africa

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
