Job Description

As a Nurse Practitioner in Cape Town, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patient health issues while collaborating with healthcare teams to provide integrated services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations and assess patients' health.
  • Communicate effectively with patients about their health concerns.
  • Order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care.
  • Document patient interactions and update care plans.
  • Advocate for patient needs and preferences in treatment decisions.
  • Participate in case discussions with other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
  • Provide mentorship and training for nursing staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MNurs) or equivalent
  • Specialization in Family or Pediatric Nursing preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience with preference for primary care or family medicine.
