Job Description

The Investment Banking Analyst at our Johannesburg office will play a key role in executing financial transactions and providing analytical support. You will be responsible for market research, financial modeling, and assisting with the preparation of pitch books for client presentations. A proactive attitude and strong analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform research and quantitative analysis to inform investment strategies.
• Collaborate with team members on presentations and reports.
• Assist in drafting reports and documentation for client transactions.
• Analyze market trends and company financials to support senior bankers.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Contribute insights gained from analyses during client meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• CFA Level I completion preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in financial services or investment banking
