Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security systems.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Work with vendors to assess and manage third-party risks.
• Create and implement data protection strategies.
• Evaluate new cybersecurity technologies.
• Maintain documentation related to security measures and incidents.
• Compile, analyse, and report on security metrics.
• Develop and regularly update incident response protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
• Certification in cybersecurity is strongly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity analysis and threat mitigation
