Job Description

As an Electric Trucker, you will be responsible for operating electric trucks and transporting goods safely and efficiently. This role includes conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive electric trucks to transport goods efficiently.
• Inspect vehicles pre- and post-operation for safety compliance.
• Document and report any vehicle discrepancies.
• Ensure timely deliveries and collect signatures as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with logistics coordinators for optimal routes.
• Manage electronic logs for deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain a positive relationship with clients.
• Support the logistics team in improving processes.
• Contribute to team meetings and planning sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience with electric trucks is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools
• Ability to lift heavy objects

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Time-management skills

Certifications

• Certification in First Aid (advantageous)

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
• English: Fluent
