Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Architect to lead cloud strategy and design solutions that meet business needs in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and a passion for building robust digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create a roadmap for cloud adoption and transition.
• Develop automation scripts to improve cloud deployment processes.
• Foster strong partnerships between cloud engineering and development teams.
• Conduct performance reviews of cloud applications regularly.
• Identify and analyze cloud usage patterns and trends.
• Lead initiatives for improved cloud costs and management.
• Ensure consistent application of best practices for cloud usage.
• Facilitate workshops and training on cloud solutions.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
• Support business units in their cloud initiatives with expertise and guidance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
