We are looking for a skilled Cloud Architect to lead cloud strategy and design solutions that meet business needs in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and a passion for building robust digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud architecture solutions.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives to enhance system performance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop cloud strategies that meet business objectives.
• Oversee the integration of new applications and services into the cloud.
• Set cloud standards and best practices across the organization.
• Monitor cloud performance and optimize resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security and privacy regulations.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on cloud technologies.
• Troubleshoot cloud issues and develop contingency plans.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline development and deployment processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
