Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our software solutions, performing manual and automated testing, identifying defects, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies and plans.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and validate acceptance criteria.
• Log and manage defects while ensuring timely resolutions.
• Facilitate defect triage meetings and assist in prioritization.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in QA roles

Technical Skills

• Performance Testing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with performance testing tools: Experience using tools like LoadRunner or JMeter for performance testing.
