Investment Banking Analyst

Job Description

We are on the hunt for an ambitious Investment Banking Analyst to contribute to our team in Cape Town. You will be involved in creating pitch books, performing due diligence, and assisting in the pricing of various financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market analysis and financial modeling.
• Assist in drafting pitch decks and maintaining client relationships.
• Support the valuation process and assist in pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to execute transactions effectively.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decision-making.
• Participate in due diligence processes to assess investment opportunities.
• Engage with clients and manage expectations throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Master's degree or professional qualifications (CFA) is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking or related financial services
