Job Description

We are on the hunt for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering principles and project management, with a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement engineering designs and oversee project deployment.
• Coordinate with utility companies and regulatory agencies.
• Manage contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure that all materials and work performed meet required standards.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of existing structures.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on project status.
• Evaluate innovative construction methods and technologies.
• Support in the training and development of junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Additional certifications in project management are beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering and project management

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Project
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech Eng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiXhosa: Basic
