Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team. In this role, you will be involved in various stages of engineering projects, from planning and design to execution and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in civil engineering principles and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project proposals and provide expert recommendations.
• Perform risk assessments and safety inspections.
• Maintain communication with clients to update project status.
• Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Civil Design Software
• Cost Estimation

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in Urban Infrastructure Projects: Hands-on experience with urban planning and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Water Management: Familiarity with SAP for managing water resources in civil projects.
