Join our Johannesburg-based team as a UI/UX Designer, where you will play a significant role in shaping the interface and experience of our products. With your keen eye for design and passion for usability, you will collaborate closely with product managers and developers to create innovative solutions that meet user needs and enhance engagement.

Responsibilities

• Map out customer journeys to improve the user experience.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback on design solutions.
• Utilize tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma to create high-quality visuals.
• Track project timelines and deliver on deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in design and usability.
• Engage in continuous learning to expand knowledge of design tools and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, or a related area

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• User Research
• Wireframing

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Time Management

Certifications

• UX Design Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with animation tools: Familiarity with animation tools such as Adobe After Effects to create engaging experiences.
• Knowledge of design systems: Experience working within design systems to ensure consistency in design across platforms.
