We are in search of a skilled IT Support Technician to assist in maintaining our IT infrastructure in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for resolving client issues, providing technical assistance, and enhancing the overall customer experience. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on a variety of platforms.
  • Maintain and monitor IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of computer systems and applications.
  • Train users on new technologies and provide ongoing support.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and technical issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to review and improve support processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
