Job Description

We are on the lookout for a proactive IT Operations Lead to spearhead our IT initiatives in Stellenbosch. In this position, you will work collaboratively with other departments to foster a culture of efficient technology use while mentoring your team in best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT operations to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues.
  • Implement IT governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct regular assessments of IT systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology into everyday processes.
  • Manage disaster recovery operations and ensure business continuity.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on operations.
  • Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and IT assets.
  • Assist in developing strategic technology plans for future growth.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related discipline
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT support and administration
