Job Description

We are seeking a talented Bioprocess Engineer to join our team in Richards Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing bioprocesses, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation in chemical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of bioprocesses for various chemical applications.
• Conduct pilot-scale experiments and scale-up for commercial production.
• Collaborate with R&D and quality assurance teams to improve product quality.
• Assess and implement new technologies in bioprocess engineering.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders and management.
• Supervise laboratory experiments and manage resources effectively.
• Integrate sustainability practices into bioprocess designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• PhD in Bioprocess Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years in bioprocess or chemical engineering
