Job Description

As an IT Support Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our IT infrastructure. This includes assisting users with hardware and software challenges, performing system troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient technology use throughout our East London operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support users in VoIP phone setups and configurations.
  • Assist the IT team in implementing new projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular backups and data recovery procedures.
  • Maintain an inventory of necessary IT supplies.
  • Provide input on technology needs and potential upgrades.
  • Ensure prompt communication regarding scheduled maintenance and outages.
  • Participate in IT strategy meetings to discuss improvements.
  • Assist in establishing IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in IT or Computer Science
  • Relevant certifications in IT support are a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years in IT support or technical support roles
