Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Photographer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality images for various projects including events, portraits, and commercial work. You should have a keen eye for detail and an artistic flair, coupled with technical knowledge of photography equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shoot consultations with clients to discuss their requirements.
• Capture compelling images that tell a story and invoke emotion.
• Utilize photo editing software to enhance images post-shoot.
• Assist in developing marketing materials using photographs.
• Collaborate with other creative professionals on various projects.
• Ensure a constant flow of high-quality images to the digital asset management system.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts or equivalent experience

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in photography, preferably in a commercial setting

Technical Skills

• Lighting Techniques
• Videography Skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Background in graphic design: Understanding of graphic design principles to assist in creating marketing materials.
