In this position, you'll work closely with clients to evaluate their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and determine acceptability based on the underwriting guidelines.
• Assess risks by analyzing client information and data.
• Calculate premiums and coverage limits based on risk evaluation.
• Collaborate with brokers and clients to provide guidance and advice on policy coverage.
• Review existing policies for renewals and adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to underwriting decisions.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and resolve queries effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or anything relative
• Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry or related field

Certifications

• Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA)
• Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
