Join our vibrant team as an Interior Designer in Durban. You will play a key role in creating beautiful, functional spaces. The successful candidate will bring innovative design solutions to life and collaborate closely with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design interior spaces that are functional, safe, and visually appealing.
• Create 2D and 3D renderings using design software.
• Assess and recommend improvements for existing spaces.
• Liaise with architects and engineers to ensure design integrity.
• Visit project sites to conduct inspections and ensure compliance.
• Maintain a project documentation and record-keeping system.
• Develop and manage project specifications and materials lists.
• Engage in client meetings to ensure design satisfaction.
• Research and source contemporary design trends and materials.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Master's degree in Interior Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial design

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering Software
• Building Codes Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)
• Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
