We are in search of a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. This role requires a strong foundation in cybersecurity practices to protect sensitive data and systems against potential threats. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of network security, threat detection, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Identify security risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and frameworks.
• Evaluate and improve firewall configurations and security systems.
• Support the implementation of multi-factor authentication.
• Provide expert advice on security best practices.
• Work with vendors to enhance the company’s security posture.
• Prepare and present security reports to management.
• Manage security incidents from identification through resolution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
